Artists' Opportunities
Residencies, open submissions ad artist's studios
If I hear of any opportunities that I think may be of interest to the Friends of the gallery, I will include them in this section.
Artist's studios available-
Affordable Studios Spaces at
Commercial Square Studios High Wycombe
Additional studio spaces are shortly to become available at the popular Commercial Square Studios site in High Wycombe and we are inviting local artists to come along to view and express their interest. Rents are from approx £90 - £175 per month, depending on square footage of each studio and are exclusive of business rates.
We are looking for professional artists, who intend to use the space on a regular basis (i.e. those who intend to be in at least 2/3 days per week) and we would like to get a good diverse mix of work and foster an atmosphere of co-operation and collaboration within the current artistic community, therefore, we are keen to find studio holders that will contribute to the group as well as pursuing their own work.
It is envisaged that the studios will be available from early September 2010.
We are inviting interested artists along to view the studios on the evening of Monday 23rd August at 7.30pm - initially for a look round and a chat with some of the present studio holders. If we do not have enough spaces for everyone who is keen, we will add you to our waiting list. So please come and join us for some wine, nibbles and a chat.
Please contact Patricia Lynch on artbypatricia@btinternet.com or phone me on 07929 772 528 if you would like to view the new spaces on the 23rd.
