Birds and Winged Creatures - Made by artists to sell in aid of Crisis at Christmas
Saturday 28th November - Dickensian Evening in Great Missenden

Last year the gallery put on a fabulous exhibition of 'birds' that artists had very kindly made to sell in aid of the Crisis at Christmas charity. In 2007, they made angels.
( www.crisis.org.uk) This charity specifically tries to help homeless people have a good meal and somewhere to stay that is warm and dry over the festive period.
The Gallery sent off a cheque for £900 from the sale of the birds in 2008.
This year the festive period in Gt. Missenden starts with the 'Dickensian Evening' where shops stay open until late, the high street is pedestrianized and stalls line the High Street for late night Christmas shopping.
I am hoping that all the artists who made a bird last year and very importantly other artists who hear about this, will make a bird or winged creature to make this an even more successful event. As the subject is birds or winged creatures, there may also be some angels again this year.Please come along and support this event!
